grid over lay on the f2 screen... ether a grid covering the whole of the MV or many grids and divide up the MV into sectors (sector borders also visable in the f2 screen)... while there is a system in place, it is hard to use given that there is know way to know what possion is -8.6, -3.5 by just looking at the map... resoning is there is no visable grid and no lables for said grid... also in some places you will fine many spots with the same grid location number (no way of knowing if point -8.6, -3.5 is the same point you are looking for)...
the main reson for this idea is to make searching for ships that jumped out of a fight a little easyer... with the grid you can tell more easy the area you have already looked and more easy define a seach area...

REMOVE OBSERVATION MOD FROM THE PUBLIC... i have found that you can play your game and observe more or less at the same time... all need do is know what direction the guy went... get him in observation (to get his location) hit f2 and find that location and jump to him... while this can take a few mins to do it can also be done in about 10sec... with a little team work there is no hideing save to jump WAY, WAY out so as to be out of range of the observer...


new planet "shield" tec with out the shield part...

UGTO... laster defence net... stops all bombs for the duration of activation... (activated by bombs/fighter bombers within 300gu of the planet (though the activation range may have to be farther due to some large planets)
1) bombs detected (range to be determinded)
2) activat laster net (duration to be determinded but acts like a shield untill power runs out)
3) recharge (recharge time to be determinded)
4) nonstackable (not more than one per planet, cannt build icc shield or luth psi wave)

K'luth... some sort of psi wave... stops all bombs at the time of activation, no duration (effect is instant)
1) bombs detected
2) psi wave activates (range to be determinded- acts like a puse shield)
3) recharge
4) nonstackable (not more than one per planet, cannt build icc shield or ugto laser net)

tired of constently rebuilding planets... it has been said that it should take more than one ship to kill a planet, this atlest would by you one pass (time enough to respond)...
it has also been said that planet shield is icc tec only so there are some shields with out being shields...
