Looks like a memory error..

Try lowering the CAS settings or set your RAM to Single Channel.

That cant be right either, Darkspace was working on this computer earlier before i did a complete reformat, and im sure no files were left behind as I completely erased the drive and had a new copy of windows xp.

.. and make shure you have the latest BIOS on your MoBo (V 5.0)
the "Start"-BIOS was a bit "raw" - i got informed

make also shure you installed the latest chipset-drivers (V 6.66)

did you ever changed something in the BIOS - or is it "default" ??
did you ever overclocked the MoBo?? (not such a good idea)

btw. here ==> http://www.chaintech.com.tw/tw/eng/Download/dl_desc.asp?DCSNo=20&PISNo=318 <== you find a memory compatibility list

That can't be it, right now my system is running on the exact same things as before when darkspace was running fine, now that ive completely reformatted and installed all the correct drivers for all of my products I dont understand why it is not working anymore, it always breaks down right when launching gcql
