I deleted that file, the client redownloads it and i get the same error, even if i run it on doupdate=0

i dont want to be a pain in the a....
but
you have 100% the same system than before??
- not only on hardware-side
exactly the same (driver)-software installed
- ATI-Drivers
- Chipset-Drivers
- Soundcard-Drivers
- USB and so on and so on ..
same IE and so on

yup, i installed windows xp, installed all the drivers that came in the cd's, and then installed the newest drivers i saved on a usb drive, and installed automatic updates

Yeah thats right, but at least i have WoW, BF2, and the other computers that i can play ds on, its just this one i want working so i can play all nite long XD

Try installing the beta client, see if that works...
Also, make sure you are installing DS using the latest 1.483 client, not older ones as you can encounter various weird issues.
