there have been troubles of vets camping newbie server in the past, but i think sufficient measures have been made for them to stay away.

in the MV though, youre prolly not gonna get too far if youre flying around in a scout or frigate. your best bet is to make ensign in newbie at the least and then come over to MV. when you get there, find a big ship (dreadnaught preferably) and tag along with it everywhere. basically, make him your mentor, and youll probably learn a lot and get plenty of prestige

What Lark said, furthermore if you tag along with a big ship AND wait till he engages and gets engaged, the chances of the enemy switching it's attention over to you is minimal unless he prefers easy kills ( IOW, stay away from the guy with the nick starting with an S and ending with a G ) and/or don't mind getting pounded by the dread/cruiser while he's chasing you around and you dodge all his torps/cannons and don't get in beam range, fat chance.

Oh and never, and I mean never get in front of ANY big ship if you are in a small one, use that speed and agility of yours to the MAX. And I'm not mentioning cases of dumb scout/frig pilots cruising along right in front of a K'luth dread and in range of a bazillion disruptors...

I think that about 10 months ago (not shure) there was the build server
for all type ships. In that ,you build that system first .And winner takes all. Hey what he says does happen tho.It is a one on one combat type game ,you just have to bring along friends ,and go up in rank.
