Well i havent played for some time, and now i try to play again.
When going into the server, it says:
0: RADEON 9800 PRO (Microsoft Corporation) 1024x768x16
Failed to initialize display!

then i press Ok,
then it says:
Error
Failed to initialize the platform; please run ClientSetup to check your client settings.

Why cant i play, and how do i fix this?

Run Setup when in Lobby and change a display setting and save. This should fix your problem.

Be sure that you click the update button first, before trying to enter the server.

This is to everyone:

When changing drivers on some of the ATi Radeon (and Ati cards in general), and moving from the Nvidia Det 2x.00 to 3x.00+ drivers, your card name will change.

DarkSpace does NOT work by using the device ID, it uses the device name. So if the driver changes the card from a "Geforce 5600" to "Nvidia Geforce 5600", (for Ati > "Raedeon 9800" to "Ati Radeon 9800"), it will act as a different card. It won't be able to find the old name, because no such device exists.

To fix this, just go into options, change something, click ok, then change it back and hit ok again. This will save the new device name.

Update your drivers, you're using the Microsft Default.
