That was quick! Usually it takes 3 years to do a Comp Sci degree, add a year for Msci s/w engineering and even then you need a few years experience on top.

But, wow, you got there in about a month!? Gratz!!one!eleven

c0ldfury, Backslash is trying to say that he intended to state that he was becoming a software engineer. Here is what he said:

Obviously, this quote implies that he already is a software engineer, and a very fast learner. However, that is not what he intended to say. His statement should have looked something like this...

So as you see, this is but a simple misunderstanding when one forgets to type a pivotal word while they are quickly scrawling down a statement. As you know, Backslash has a very busy posting schedule and simply does not have time to carefully examine all his posts before clicking the 'Post' button.

Monty Python is as intellectually stimulating as GothThug.

Get over yourselves, your stand-up is worse than the time I suggested changing "Fleets" to "Cults".

BackSlash, a software engineer, bweheheh. You must first acknowedge that Windows sucks before being accepted into the Enclave of the Geek. Try again tomorrow.

And VB doesn't count.

Honest.

Here's a simple quiz to see whether or not you have what it takes to be a

Genuine Computer Geek:

1. What does Slashdot mean to you?
2. What is wrong with this code segment:

Quote:
for(i = 4; i >= 11; i++)
{
cout << "I is " << i << endl;
}

3. Can you upgrade the processor on a notebook PC?
4. Please, explain, generally speaking, how the Pentium 4's architecture is different from the Pentium III, or older.
5. What does the GNU GPL allow you to do? And under what conditions?

1. Hammer.
2. Hammer.
3. A hammer could.
4. It takes a slightly harder hammer for the Penitum III
5. It allows you to hit harder with a hammer. Under the condition you know how to aim.
