Try to nuke all planets of the 2 other factions except one shipyard, then switch sides and bomb the planets of the third faction, will make you the best known person in DS

lol, the best way is to find a freind and hang out in the Admin Server for a while, building, bombing enemy planets, capturing planets, and occasionally fighting off other players. oh, and mining. The admin server is great for mining and then selling to shipyards for money. Darkmatter and urdanium are always around in the Admin server and always sell for the max amount of credits. But yeah, the Admin server gets boring if your the only one in it so the meteverse is great too. but if your new stick with a buddy so you have a chance against larger experianced players.

and please, dont become a Tilvius, (bombing to Admiral) and if ur on as ugto i dont doubt that more then enough fleets will help out, I know VCA will cus its part of the new rules enforced and I will as well, unless i fighting, then i cant lol....

fixt.
back on topic-
- bombing - the broke, makes people mad at you, but still good for pres
- supply - great pres gain if you're any good at it, which isnt hard, and people are always happy to see you (unless they're on the other team )
- combat - skill-heavy, but the payoff its pretty good. only hull damage counts tho
- planet captures - decent pres only if the planet is built up, as they give more pres than say, planets that just got mirved to the stone age.
- player captures - the single most pres per point, and its great for bragging rights if you actually capture somebody
- building - not as great as it once was, but still good for rounding off that last bit needed for the next rank
