Hm...

That talk is all well and great...

But for UGTO, all of those pretty much need to be ignored. Everyone knows UGTO = damage over time, which means their projectiles should stay the same as they are right now (require high energy, and have no ammo). Since UGTO are supposed to have the most energy of all ships (no organic crap or shields to drain anything), it supports the fact they are supposed to do the most damage over time.

For beams, damage needs to be the highest (higher than discruptors) at close range, but poor at long range. This will make the EAD, yet again, a feared ship in battle. Not just some easy prestige for a scout.

For kluth, do those armour changes (but do not give them more, force them into hit and run), but for gods sake, stop the beacons from stopping them cloaking. Just make it add a base signature so it takes them longer to cloak (and REMOVE the ambient engine sound WHEN cloaked)). That should make them what they should be.

As far as ICC go. They're pretty much perfect, EXCEPT, their shields are uberly borked (far, far too superior), and they can use UGTO armour. Remove those aspects, you return ICC to what it's supposed to be (you ICC should stop modding long range ships for close range battle!).

As far as core weapons go...

Do it, now. They add nothing to the game.

And I'll poke in the fact that the EAD is now utterly useless for the following reasons.

Has the most power hungry weapons in the game.
Has the least power in the game (UGTO ship, most power hungry ship... It's supposed to be able to sustain fire in combat for almost forever)

Meant to be the most damaging of the UGTO ships.
Six fore torps, TWO REAR?
Has tons of beams. Beams do crap damage.

AD has energy, but, not really enough, although 5 reactors is a god send compaired to the EAD's 3 (makes no sense), and the siphon has SIX reactors, and can fire it's core weapon till the cows come home, and will never run dry of energy.

Ok I'm not gonna get into what needs changed on factions I'm not a part of, there are plenty of players on those factions who are very vocal on that part as well as what other factions need. So here is what I have to say on the luth.

First, Cloaks, we need to be able to fire as soon as were visable, once we decloak there is a 2 to 5 second period where we can not fire, bomb, or drop inf while were being smoked by planets or players. Make it to where we can fire as soon as visable, or when we fire or fire the first shot we become visable till our weapons recharge (energy drain on cloak and all). we could also have a charge time on the cloaking device as well. That allows for the hit and run tactics of the luth with out making cloaks over powerful.

Fix the armor, dont take it from the rear to add to the front, just make it stronger. Right now its like paper, possiably create a buildable at a factory upgrade (chiton perhaps) that allows for better protection but less mobility (but to much less we have the worst turning of any of the ships as well)

ruptors and torps are fine, when they hit, I'm good with that luth were designed to get in close nail the enemy and run like heck, they never needed great tracking as they prefer to get to near point blank ranges.

Beacons are a joke, the luth dont just turn invisable, there is a cloak field that surrounds the ship canceling engine emissions, comunications, and anything else that would allow a ship to be detectable. It ridiculas to belive a race that developed that tech would not be able to cancel a beacons ablity to transmit once the cloak is activated.

Now before anyone flames over the cloaks and beacons, remember, with ECM the ugto is as invisable as the cloaks and in some cases better as they still have a weapons free status. Go fig how a faction designed to hide cant hide as well as one meant to come in swinging and slug it out to the death.

i hope they boost kluth armour a bit more still should be weaker than the other factions also cut down beacon active time length and the amount you can stack as at the moment kluth are just hunted like the ai trannies of old for easy pres because of our gank armour sorting out the eccm pinging would be much needed and maybe a dreadnought class ship at va
and make human tech for humans and kluth tech left to us so we can be whant we are ment to be once again a stealth faction which cant sustain long engagements but can kill ship classes below ours

Haha, it's paper because you keep uncloaked and try to get off more than one alpha...

That isn't how kluth are meant to play..

You uncloak, you fire, you recloak. Your armour is supposed to take a slight beating during that time but you're meant to do more damage to them in one alpha than they have to you. By the time you recharge and go in for another attack, your armour will be repaired back up to what it was, or a good percentage of what it was (if you tag team with other kluth players, you actualy get a longer repair time, so your armour goes up higher).

THAT is how kluth are meant to play. When I log onto my kluth account, I have no problem teaming up with one or two select people and obliterating anyone we see. It's quite simple really.

You're NOT meant to duke it out with human ships. One alpha, then you get out. Don't like it? Select a faction that fits the play style you want.

I like the luth, but again becons make going cloaked again rather dificult in the present release, as well as the fact that u can have all the alphas you want, our weapons do not make it past sheilds or armor to reach hull and thus gain pres in a alpha. If you manage to get away with out being beconed on your first attack you wont on the second. Also the only thing self repair does for you better then ugot armor and shield regen is fix your hull, our armor does not repair fast enough for it to be a signifgent factor in relying on alpha attacks to destroy a enemy. We fight a constant battle of attrition, which as a faction we are pretty good at make you all pay for all the planets you cap reguardless of what we do to stop you.
