I remember that. Yeah I flew away because our fleet was switched to ICC and I had recieved a message stating we were to go to the lobby. So I left.
Notice I didn't come back? That is because I was back to ICC. If I was to have remained UGTO, I would have been back in an instant. Simply because I'm not one to flee like a pansy after I get my ass handed to me.

YOU brought me up and I justified why I left!! FS left about that same time. While we WERE there, everyone was working together just fine. Dunno what happened after we left.

Well, first off, I do not recall ever being slaughered during the time that I was playing UGTO with the my fellow fleet members, the BUMS, Starfist, Obiwon, and DragonSlayer. Infact we were capping back their systems. FS must have switched just before this apparent "slaughter" occured.
Secondly, everyone DID indeed work together.

im not sure if you've noticed this, but ugto ALWAYS has poor teamwork unless have good teamwork. alternativly, ugto ALWAYS has good teamwork except when they dont.
the other factions are just as guilty of this as well
