No one seems to know exactly the difference when I ask them so I was wondering which is stronger an interceptor fighter or an attack fighter like the taurus and the larvae
Can anyone answer ?

Assault fighters are for general battles. They fire missiles, have cannons. They do what they do. Interceptors are there purely for when the fighter interface gets invented or put in. They should have options to defend your ship against incoming enemy fire (missiles, other fighters, etc). Meaning carriers will have a new meaning (they can have assault and interceptor fighters), so.. Untill that comes along, enjoy dud fighters with beams.
