Ok granted this is Release vs Beta but try to hear me out.

Current Release Stock UGTO EAD (0 lvl) IE Drives produce 144.1 energy with 3 Aux Generators.

Beta Stock UGTO EAD IE Drives produce 188.6 energy with 2 Aux Generators.


Current Release Stock ICC AD (0 lvl) IE Drives produce 147.8 energy with 4 Aux Generators.

Beta Stock ICC AD IE Drives produce 202.3 energy with 4 Aux Generators.

Sadly I must Admit that I have next to zero experience in Kluth ships and haven't tested them as yet, so I can't give any data on the Siphone though what little time I DID spend in one it seemed to be ok (Again I dunno)

ANYWAY. in Beta I used PFE Drives in an EAD and Fought Red Dragon to a Draw in his AD with IE drives. (202.4 energy EAD/PFE vs 202.6 energy AD/IE).

We both lost Energy at a more or less equal rate, we both loss systems at a more or less similar rate, and we both beat each other down to 10-15 % hull at a similar rate.


Fast forward to IE/EAD vs IE/AD I got my butt handed to me in extreme fashion (100% hull 75%Shields 100% Armor AD vs one dead EAD)


I'm thinking The EAD needs at least another Aux Generator If a stock EAD runs 198 - 200 energy I think it would stand to a draw against the AD

Everyone wants "Balance" (except me) so It stands to reason that two relatively equal competent pilots (though Red has more Dread time than I) should be able to fight to a draw in ANY two equal class ships [TC vs AC : EAD vs AD : Siphon vs AD etc. etc.]

In the past I have fought one on one to a draw with players both equal to myself and unequal, in comparable ships.


Admittedly this IS a teamwork based game, but if "Balance" is truely wanted then all ships of all factions should be VERY near equal to others in its class.......I would think.

I'm a redneck so I use The NASCAR Analogy here. They wanted Balance so what they have now is really just a standard template car with either a Ford, Chevy , or Dodge Frontend clip and decals. The "Lonewolf" Cars get beat each week, while the "Big team cars" (Those where one owner owns 3 - 5 cars) stay in the top ten.

Balance. ALL cars equal........ Teamwork wins, lonewolf tactics lose.


Granted Kluth, UGTO , and ICC have their Trademark differences (Cloak, slugging power, and Defense respectively) , but I would think that all 3 Factions Dread class, Crusier class, Etc. ships should be equal ........within reason.

188.6 energy vs 202.3 dosen't seem to be very reasonable.
