It's starting to get complicated now, maybe you mods need to post a list of words that are never acceptable, ie the F word and now the R word, together with a list of words that are acceptable only in the right context, like bloody, wanker, bitch etc.

Not at all. Up until the decision in this thread; R__e could be used in a non offensive context, as was the joke in the OP. Now, we can't even say 'that planet got r_p_d' after a succesful bomb run.
