Havent had time to work on any of my own music lately.... But I did record something to test a new guitar (a cheap strat copy). It is very cheesey in that 80's hold your lighter over your head in the stadium kind of way. It is of course a 1st take improvisation over a borrowed backing track, when I recorded it my only goal was to showcase the tone of the new instrument.

However, the over the top sappy theme has grown on me so I will likely recycle the theme of the tune and make an actual piece of music out of it. Here is the link..... Thanx for listening.

for anyone interested I am about to start work on some epic prog stuff with crazy guitars and keyboards and a theremin. Would make godd DS battle music.................

Do you play the theremin, or is it just digitally added in or somesuch?

I have not recorded any theremin music yet beyond just testing it with my recording software, but for Christmas I bought one for my son and I will be playing his. It is not a difficult instrument to play. I will be using it in a few up coming projects. When you add a bunch of reverb and a touch of chorus to it it can be really cool.

However, my Fantom keyboard has a pach called "Theremax" and an optical midi controller, so I can do fake theremin as weell. But why fake when the real deal is available.
