OK a guy made this backing track on a guitar website and a few of us played over it. Here is my version.... Mind you that I am ususally MUCH MUCH more melody concious in my playing, but on this I just let my fingers do their thing. It is truely pointless guitar wankery......

On this particular track I just used a Carvin DC200T guitar and a Vox Tonelab SE. That is pretty much my at home rig. For work I use anything from a collection of Mesa Boogie amps (in the old days anyhow) to a Carvin Legacy (my current live rig). In the studio I use a crapload of various gear, a lot of it on loan from other artists or poducers.......

Thanx for listening, by the end of the day I will have another recording done.......

If I'd heard it without knowing anything, I'd say it was Joe Satriani. Nicely done sir.
