To expand on Doran a bit..
There are currently three factions which the website knows about. The game, however, has something like six factions. Thus, if through some odd circumstance a new faction suddenly gains a planet in the MV, the website doesn't know how to interpret it's faction ID code... so it just reuses what it does know.
So its interserver miscommunication more than ICC Civil War..
Oh, and since the MV does know who all the factions are (obviously, if you're going to fly one of them), any planets owned by said mysterious fourth faction should display properly - its just a matter of finding them.

So let me undertand, The Mv knows that there are 6 factions, but we don't?
Are you saying that Faustus put more secret factions in the game and that they oughta be discovered through secret doors?
If that is true, where are the ships to these new supposed factions? How do they look like?
I am in need of answers...
