Normally, you will only see 3 factions (ICC, UGTO, Kluth) but in times of Galactic War...

Like Doran said earlier, theres a EDIT option to edit those unecessary after post, also, if you made a double post, you can delete the second in the edit option.

there are three factions and you missed the mir invasion and the pirate invasion came about 5 months ago.

Current in Game Races/NPCs which i know about are:
Playable:
ICC
UGTO
K'Luth
Un-Playable:
MIR/Legion
Pirates
Natural DS universe lifeforms:
Gaifens
engery entities
Crystiline entities
These are what i know about them in the MV ONLY.
Whilst they were still in the programming it was possible to create MIR/Legion and Pirate fleets, but the option to do so was removed by the administration due to illegal use of them.
Not mentionaing any names here. lol.
