The real problem is, there's no hardware DX10 support on iMac's, and I doubt Apple can make graphics cards that are up to spec of that of Matrox/Nvidia/Ati and such. But - time will tell.

lol well the new macs all have PCI-Express ATI cards as basic config
iMac comes with a 2.0-GHz Core Duo processor, 1GB of RAM, and an ATI Radeon X1600 graphics card with 128MB - 256mb of GDDR3 memory
and ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 same spec for MacBook pro
and thats just the basic config
you can get other graphics cards (GPU) choices to soon.
so basical with the new intel mac*s its not the hardware thats a problem and rest is just about the drivers
you should check your facts Jack start with the link i made to the pc world test i made ;

And you think the X1600 is a super fast graphics card? I'm sorry, but all this is telling me, is that the Mac still has a long, long, long way to go untill it even starts to be able to game like a PC.
Then there's the problem of the split market... Even if Mac's can run Windows, there'll still be hardware config problems and such.

And people think mac is better? yet they still want to incorporate PC technology/microsoft technology into mac.... Does anyone else see the irony?
