No, that definitely shouldn't have happened. I bombed the ICC HP 3 as ICC as it had revolted, but nobody should be capping the other factions' planets.

yes the Home cluster planets are off limits, you do not attack ships there, you do not bomb them, you do not capture them.

maybey the admins should add a spawn gate near by, and turn the zones around those planets into safe zones. That way the planets will be protected. Seriously though, ppl never listen to rules and run around attacking all ships around mod planets.

You can create a safe zone on anything...

Just needs someone to update the map, and that's just more work than needed.

Also, what happens if a planet revolts?

It's a victimless crime then, you're just getting your own planet back. With the ICC planet I just destroyed the shield gens and then the inf. Even with 9 mirvs it killed a load of pop but almost no structures, so it was easy to build back what was lost. With bombs not being changeable at the moment, if people are sqeamish about boming thier own planets I would suggest bombing as K'luth and then dropping as the right faction.

If a planet revolts? Well if I recall neutrons haven't been properly intigrated yet so you can either A) Hop on K'Luth & pinpoint neutron the barracks, and have a player of that faction (lucky if you're Luth) cap it, or you can simply pinpoint mirv the inf, which should be easy since the home planets are to have 0 defenses last I checked, no dictors - nothing.

You guys seem to forget that in a safe zone, you can't fire, and neither can the enemy.
