he was full speed i stop him with my tractor while i was finishing him, he opend wh and boom, both died. Twice.
Im done. The point is not wh or yes or whatever is a decent and honorable game.
Crimson, since i know u, i had only heard bullcrap from u. SAY SOMETHING POSITIVE. Why u attack me saying as if was my fault. As i see it is very unbalanced the opinion. And do that annoys a lot.. next time this game will become a WH game.. all will be WHING other.. will be very funny all complains how they losing tons of pres dying in whs. THE WAR OF THE WHS! lol THINK and ANALIZE before u talk. And if ur tiny brain understand what the whole point is, ur comments maybe will be usefull. This item may become as much annoying as excesive mirving cause always u gonna find the way to MAKE IT LEGAL.. doh...

Now, your assuming more things.. Yes, If I had been in the same situation, I would have been mad, but I wouldnt have complained. I wouldnt have created this post, or accused smokey of abusing anything. Just because Im ICC, doesnt make it that I would defend smokey. I wasnt there, sure, but I've heard three stories from UGTO players, all saying the exact same thing, He flew up to the ships, and opened a WH into a star. This by no shape or form, is abusing wormholes. I do have a say, because it gets very annoying of people harrasing smokey, and any player who bombs, or knows how to use an old trick.

Now, your going to flame me, and insult me? I never pointed you out. All I said was that it would be the players fault, for letting a wormhole cruiser ( the name alone should make you want to keep it away) get in any range close to the ship. Everyone can complain about something, and you chose this I geuss..But think about it, you where the biggest target there, and the easiest to get to. You made an error tractoring him in, so he took advantage and wormholed you into a star, along with sacrificing himself for the cause. I dont think my brain is small due to me pointing obvious things out. Im not looking for a way to make this legal, because it already is.

Uh i was a witness to the wormhole fishing as well, it didnt happen once, but 4 times, 5 wormholes opened up just as smokey came through one and i scanned his cargo 4 WORMHOLE II'S! proof is in the pudding boys im sick and tired of this. and yes Wormhole fishing will be against the RoC soon.  and smokey fished ME with my supply right into mycopias DA Range and im mad about that but hey im over it  smokeys just an immature brat with no LIFE lol

For someone who complains so much about being harassed or people greifing you sure are trying to tear away at Smokey. Granted I dont like wh fisingh, I really don't think you should flame him over and over again in the forums. Think about it GothThug if someone did this to you, you would demand action to be taken on this person. I am sure smokey is just sitting back laughing this off but if your going to complain about harassment you shouldn't do it yourself.

Wormhole fishing is a touchy subject... there are legal ways to do it and illegal ways to do it... IF you think you have witnessed a ILLEGAL WH activation them post the screenshots to a admin or mod.. DO NOT start a flame war becuase you caught the brunt of the action. Provide the proof of the event that you BELEIVED was ILLEGAL and we the staff will look into it and make a judgement on the evidence provided.
Now saying someone did something wrong is just hearsay. Hearsay will get you nothing, either in the POSITIVE or NEGATIVE....
In a nutshell.. if you do not hae proof... one way or the other.... STOP THE FLAMMING!

Righty... I've been here long enough and seen enough people do it, so I feel I can shed some light on this...
Bypassing the wormhole generator timer to wormhole fish is illigal. No exceptions.
Wormhole fishing by bypassing in-game timers is an exploit, plain and simple. The shipyard is used to gain an advantage that you otherwise, would not have. You're bypassing the in-game wormhole timer by docking a ship with a generator, and getting another one that's already charged. You then try and get wormhole to spawn on the enemy with as many attempts as possible.
Not only is this an illigal tactic, it also causes problems with the servers, because the more wormholes you open, the more times the zones are forced to sync, creating more lag.
If an entire fleet opens wormholes to try and get an enemy (several people), it's not illigal, although continuation of doing so isn't really needed, but as you're not bypassing any in-game timers, it's not an exploit.
So, to put it plainly.
Wormhole fishing (by using the shipyard) is the process of bypassing the in-game wormhole generator timer by docking a ship and getting another one.
Dying/Self destructing on purpose to get another ship doesn't mean you're not exploiting just because you didn't use the shipyard.
IF the enemy is waiting for their generator to recharge, and keeps spawning wormholes, it is not an exploit.
That should be about it...

Wormhole fishing - The act of remotely targetting an enemy and using a Wormhole Device to "fish" in that area, in the hopes of catching one or more targets and bringing them into a pre-prepared trap.
Techinical Rulings - Fishing is a generally accepted strategy. There are, however, a couple of potential exploits.
1) Using a shipyard to repeatedly spawn new ships, thus bypassing the device recharge timer. Illegal under RoC Sections 3.1.10.c and 3.3.h.
2) Spawning multiple wormholes. Although it IS possible and technically legal to use 'garaged' ships in this way, there is a generally accepted limit of one active wormhole per player.
