Is the server down for the last three days for everyone or just me?

It's just you.

I've been playing the last 3 days, as have a lot of other people

firewall issue probably

quoth the FAQ: "Make sure that your firewall allows communication over the TCP protocol, range of ports 9000 - 9020, 9100-9101 in both directions."

if you are using a router such as linksys, belkin....
1.) press start
2.) Run
3.) cmd, okay............ side note OK = Initials for Oklahoma, okay means well okay
4.) now the command prompt is open should have a black with off white letters with a blinking underscore, type "ipconfig".... press enter....
5.) you will se a lot of word and numbers to say the lease where it said "default gateway" it will have four numbers separated by "."...dots write down the default gateway. this will help to gain access to your router.

if you have more than one default gateway write down the one that 'looks' like its the router that you are using to access the internet...

6.) open up any internet access icon I.E., firefox...... in the address bar type that four number with "." dots ex. "193.156.1.1" like that nothing more nothing less the computer should add the necessary letters and semicolons to gain access if you get a error you may need to add them thou... if you get an error then "http:/" plus your routers default gateway no spaces ex. "http:/193.156.1.1" ...press enter...
7.) this part gets a little fuzzy for me since not one router brand's settings page is the same but it you look around you should find the port options and open the ports described in previous post. CATION if you mess around with your router and umm make it not respond anymore press that little friendly RESET button will fix all, lord knows i have done it a few times.

side note only open the ports you need remember the more ports you open the more vulnerable you are to virus's and hackers so have a good virus protection like Norton’s antivirus...

umm hope this was helpful to anyone if not i will hopefully get back to you on any other issue
