i started this at 10pm last night with a major headache and nausea, so shaddap
MODS
Announcer: "MODS is filmed on location with the men and women of Lobby Enforcement. All suspects are innocent untill proven guilty by a chat log."
*Bad Boys theme plays over a montage of mods kicking and muting people*
INT: Moderator Doran patrolling Darkspace English in his Mod Orb.
Mod Doran: "I've been a mod for a few years now. Job sort of fell into my hands. The Admins were having an open recruiting drive in the area, and another mod convinced me to sign up. I was accepted, went through the Academy course and was given my green shirt as a junior Moderator. It's a nice way to give something back to the community. Meet some real characters out here..."
*A tone sounds from Doran's display*
Doran: "We just got a /report, look like a ship struck a planet near Ross 448. Head down that way, see if we can figure out what happened."
EXT: Doran's Orb arrives at Tetwep with two other mod orbs already on scene. A small fleet of ICC ships wait nearby, all highly agitated. Several UGTO ships watch from a distance. A large debris field is spread across Rondamic
Doran: /me whistles "What happened here?"
Mod Axianda: "Well, looks like some engineers were out drinking again and this one,"
*Axianda gestures at one ship, which is covered in a mosaic blur.
"came over to build a Shipyard on Tetwep while this one over here,"
* Axianda points at a Sensor Frigate.
"ran ECM. Our victem tried to spawn a dread to get at the UGTO over there but ran into Rondamic"
* Axianda looks at his watch.
"Probably out making a comp request right about now."
INT: A half hour later Doran is back in his Mod Orb.
Doran: "Almost sad to see things like that happen. Poor fella was probably just out looking for a little prestige for the evening... but instead now he's down a few hundred and has another planet collision. Don't drink and build, kids."
"Alright, we're responding to a fight in the lobby"
*unintelligable /modtalk*
"Yeah these guys are well known to us, both have a watchlist a mile long. Seems like we're out this way every week."
*more /modt chatter*
"Doesn't take much to get these two started. One will mirv or blame something on lag, the other will say something else. One thing leads to another and the insults start flying"
