my preference ranking:
1. railguns
2. psi cannons
3. particle cannons
railguns - incredible range which make for good bombardment from safe positions, and they seem to eat up armour better than the other 2. also dont need as much energy.
psi cannons - theyre cool looking, but drain energy
particle cannons - medium range + energy drain = not worth it imo

1. Particle Cannons - no limit...(good for long battles without sups) but enegry drain is the cost..
2. Psi - fast refire rate, not good range though
3- railguns- I just dont like them.. they run out too fast
