What do you think was the BEST Star Trek movie ever made?

This includes Original Series as well as the later series (Which i think only TNG has movies so far, but i could be wrong).

I'm going with First Contact, because the borg were SWEET looking in that movie... Cool story, cool graphics. Very nice.

Having watched first contact recently here's my votes

Best Cast - Generations Kirk and Picard = Awesomeness

Best Character Development - Insurrection Between Worf's, uh, pimples, Geordi regaining his site, Data saying lock and load, and many other things this one's unrivaled

Best Plot - Undiscovered Country Invisible ship casts blame on the Enterprise crew...it's at least semi-original, and the presentation was good

Best Battle Scene - First Contact I love how the Defiant is shaking and sparking at the slightest touch of a tractor beam, then the Enterprise-E arrives, gets hit, and the bridge crew doesn't even wince...that's just plain awesome

Best Overall - Hard Choice, but looking at them all together I'm gonna go with Insurrection. It had the best characters (especially Data and Worf, who too often are one-dimensional but in Insurrection are very well played), darn good action scenes (boom goes the nebula)

I'd tend to vote First Contact, but I haven't watched any others recently, save perhaps Nemesis when it was in theatres.

That said, I'll vote for Battlestar Galactica.

For me it's has to be either First Contact, Generations or Nemesis. lol Bit of a split decision. They where all really good ones. Although I haven't seen them all.

FC or Nemi. I'd have to go with FC as it had more combat in.
