I'll say it once if I'll say it a million times...
ST: Enterprise pwns all other ST series. End of discussion.
So let's not even get me stirred up. Or else I'll start posting Trip and T'Pol fan videos...

Both have been carried on far too long, people should let each of them die and focus on a more modern sci-fi.

Exactly! Like Battlestar Galactica!
Anyways I think I like Star Wars more.. since you got to see planets more.. and way better combat scenes in space...
Besides the Planet Monster was not indestructable... they weakend it by letting it eat a shuttle that was designed to explode when it was "eaten" by the monster... It did weaken it, and was subsequently destroyed when they crammed a Constellation class Heavy Cruiser down its throat and poped the anti-mater core as it went in... killed it out right...
so one good blast from the Death Star right down its throat would kill it... I mean what is a better way to kill a Planet Monster than with a machine designed to kill Planets???

That more to your liking?

Space: Above and Beyond FTW!
I watched the first episode of Enterprise. I sure wasn't compelled to watch more of that series.

the first 3 or 4 episodes are honestly not very good, but by mid first season (or if you're really picky) beginning of second season, the show really picks up. Also having watched every other ST series, all the movies, etc.. grew up on the original with Kirk, i gotta say that Enterprise is by far the best one yet!
and for all you B5 fans, it seems there's still credible rumors of JMS doin a future version of ST. (although i'd really like a new and improved version of B5 instead!!

Now I must say.. B5 was an interesting show. It used the real life physics of outerspace. They didn't have warpdrive but used something that seems rather realistic in the form of Jumpgates. I was impressed by the acting (better than I thought it would be) and the storyline was much better than most Sci-Fi Outerspace shows...
Enterprise, on the other hand, started out slow then peaked right at the time when they were trying to stop that evil machine from wiping out earth after a part of it made the American version of the Suez Canal in Florida.
Have yet to see the last season of Enterprise so I will not comment on that part of the show. Will reserve the right for later commments to be added or subtracted after I see Season 4.

Ahh babylon 5 now that was a sci-fi show, dont get me wrong i like battlestar galactica new and old but B5 gat the ppl something that the recognize a lot...
what took my attention was the sheer detail in the earth vessels... the space fighters the pilots still used bulky space suits and the sheer look of the rugged omega destroyers was great
