The Mir have a certain targeting program... if the MI ship detects a ship in its sensor range (ecm not withstanding) it directly attacks it.. regardless f faction.
There are many factors it has to think about...
#1 How many ships are within sensor range. (All Factions)
#2 CLasses of Ships (This is where the ED PD thing Draf mentioned comes in)
#3 Are any of the ships damaged?
#4 Etc... Etc... Etc...
The rest of the things it thinks about we are not allowed to mention as Draf said. But trust me on this. The Mir play no favorites...
Oh, and one last thing to think about...
IF you are the dominate faction in an area the odds are that your faction has a higher percentage of being fired upon by the Mir based on your numbers...

I for one enjoy it when the Mir target me, I have some awful good fights when they outnumber me & my Ion Cannon can occasionally give their little targeting program a good startle. The only places that I have routinely seen Mir crop up are Rosses 148 & 448 - which is often considered the frontline between the ICC & UGTO, it would only make sense for them to spawn in the most active & combatted systems along the ICC/UGTO front.

hi goth, Id love to sub again for a while, but its hard to spend much time gaming especially a MMOG when you have a family and a little baby. Not saying it can't be done, but in addition to that there's work and other stuff as well as the family... so free time goes to family first and anything else second.
But vacation I've always resubbed.
No one would really remember me around here.
