Ok, i know going in that this idea has a 1 in a buhgillion shot of EVER happening but heck, its a nice thought and so ill share anyway.
ok, the Admins create a Gas Giant Sized planet, marked as a Super-Terran. It can hold up to 100 pop with no domes or farms, and 50 structures.
Its Defs would not fire torps but rather QSTs. The def beams would be Disruptor Assaults, but with Pulse Beam recharge times and twice the normal beam range.
The Sensor bases would be able to detect thru cloak up to 3000 GU away.
Fighter bases would launch 5 times the normal number of fighters.
Edit: a Dictor base which extends out 3,000 GU from the planet.
Why would they do something like that??? The GOAL:
On this planet would be 3 Shipyards, one for each faction. Any ship that can successfully get to this planet alive, and Dock in the SY would win 2000-5000 pres and 5 million credits.
Like I said. Never gonna happen but just imagine the group suicide runs it would produce of all those hopefuls charging in and exploding all over the place. .... LOL. it would be special.

It is a good idea but it has a serious problem.
Win 2000-5000 prestige in few minutes is not good for business, the only way to make equity if you die then you will lost the same amount of prestige, another way it is offer a "new medal" to the winners.

Put a dictor on that planet to, or a mass group could Point jump in to the planet maybe one person could actually dock. Would be very funn though.

If theres no dictor there I can point jump orbit & dock in the time it takes a QST to fire.

def bases shooting QST instead of torps? cursed EDs will prob always win
def bases firing ruptor assaults with PB charge time when the normal ones are painful enough? I WANT MY MOMMY!
sounds like a fun idea though....not that id want to lose 2k-5k pres for dying.....its taken me almost 2 weeks to get from 47k to nearly 52k...so id hate to see that work go down the tube...
nevertheless....sounds like a fun idea...and i might give it a go

Crazy idea, probably wont be instituted, but it would be mindless fun.

sounds interesting a crazy plan but efective would be to use 4 mabie 5 supports stations if played right 1 mabie even 3 could make it.and 1 idea i had before .all the mods /admins use only mir for 1 week and invade everyone would be interesting
