Why does no one have the balls to blame Faustus? It has been 418 days since 1.483 was released. Pressure him to work faster.

Even though it's been 418 or so days, he does have a life. He has to work, to get money for his family. He spends time with his family. That takes time away from DS. So no, it's not all of Richards fault. I'd rather he spend time with his family, then work round the clock on the patch.

Ant, go walk off a bridge.
Trying to pressure him to work faster is what made this version what it is. If we did that now, we'd end with a far worse version then what we have now.
Rushing = Incomplete Work = Bad DS.

I thought Darkspace was a business. You'd think that a business owner would spend some time working on the game.
I'm not a professional programmer, but I need to know how long it takes to work on a patch. This patch doesn't seem to be as big as some past ones, but it is taking a lot longer to create.
I just hope 1.484 is great so it won't take another year or so to fix it.

No, Darkspace is not a buisness. Darkspace is a hobby. Nothing more, and nothing less. Faustus could abandon us as if it where nothing, but he still chooses to waste his own time to work on Darkspace, and try to keep an ever bitching community happy.

This must be one hobby. Publishing the game, creating a corporation, and charging money for the game among other things.

Oh yeah, I forgot. The tired excuse of Faustus' job and family. The same one everyone has been hearing for years now.
Those other versions took a long time to be released, but this one is taking a really long time. In other versions he at least had a working beta up. Something is different. Maybe he just doesn't feel like working on Darkspace as much.
