Well I got XP.

I was just curious!

Windows finally produce something semi-stable, I don't see why I should go for a very graphically heavy OS.

And I think I'll go Mac, on my next machine!

Macs cannot run a lot of games, presumably because Windows-running PCs are the biggest share of the market by far. I'm not really very knowledgable about it, but consensus seems to be PCs for gaming, Macs for editing.

As scythe said, Macs are what you want if you want to do media editing(videos, pictures, audio) but for gaming and customization i prefer PCs (as much as i hate MS)

I personally wouldnt buy a computer that I could not easily upgrade myself

What's the big problem Sythe? With the Macbook pro you can have both Mac and Xp!

That is what I was talking about, surely not about a minimac!

Vista works perfectly if you know how to fine tune it. For the general user, it's fine, and has an insane amount of security.

Mac's should never be your first choice for a machine, unless you're a professional media editor of some sort, and then, and ONLY then, should you use it for it's software.

Mac's are not more powerful than computers, and they are infact, less, due to the fact that they are not upgradable in any sense like general computers, and none of them have high-end components (they all have low-medium range setups).

I think the real question is...

Why is Vista on your computer?

Sorry Bill.
