Wait... I have to pay for the both of us...
Mother...
Popcorn, soda, candy, lubricated condoms to whip at people with cell phones, or who TALK LOUDLY, or who kick my chair, basically, everyone.
I just got paid yesterday...

Saw it the day it came out.
Amazing. Not very historically accurate, but still amazing.
Anyone going to this movie expecting a deep, fascinating plotline is, uh... dumb. It's a massive boatload of AWESOME. Pure action movie. Loved it.
Only movie I've bothered going to the theater for since Star Wars.

I think I must say my favorite part was when the decapitated head flew across the screen, and when they soomed in on it, he still had the same expression on his face before he was killed I laughed...

there were 300 soldiers
plus Leonides
so it actually ought to be called 301.
and actually, all those other Greeks took part for a good while too, so thats like, 1301 or something.
just thought id mention that.

was a great movie. I have had a kind of Spartan vibe about me for years, so the movie was near and dear to me (although I am a Scot/Noresman by blood, not greek, the Spartan spirit has still always been strong in me.)
That said, I took a really cool chick to see it and she got so turned on watching Leonidas and his queen that we got to do some fun role playing when we got back to her place.
I had actually hoped for something more historical, realistic, and when the opening scenes began, i was thinking oh this is going to be such a let down, but, within minutes I had changed my mind and really enjoyed the movie.
