Well, me and some other players in the mv were fighting some ICC at their planet. At 3% hull, someone garages their ship.

I want to see something like a 30 second timer from the moment you activate the shipyard to the time you actually get in to prevent using shipyards to survive.

An old problem...

But I don't see it being very viable when its an inconvienence to others.

most people dont dock at a sy anyways unless they are trying to avoid death.. even 5-10 seconds would be better than instant

I keep saying this...

Change the system so you can't dock when blockaded.

I agree. Having the shipyard locked when blockaded both in and out would solve this easily.

Out - I'm not so sure. I mean, it'd be stupid NOT to allow you to defend a planet. But then again, I can see people just spawning the moment a bomber comes out, and pulsing the bombs (or running over them).

Didn't it used to be like that? I remember always getting a "Planet blockaded, unable to spawn ship!" but now I can spawn anytime...

In the release notes, 1.483: - You can no longer spawn from shipyards on blockaded planets.

Yet I still can most of the time..

no, you cant.
The suggestion made in here was that you cant DOCK when the planet is blockaded.
Slight difference between docking and undocking you see...

Anyways, you can get out sometimes. I have done quite a few times blockaded(only in scenario, but still.. dont see why it should change between servers)

Simple logical solution:

Enemy is within range of planet? You can pop out of the shipyard (Unless blockaded) to help defend.

Enemy is within range of planet but you want to leave? What the hell are you doing, go back and fight them pansy.

I agree, i mean the shipyard just allows too easy escape. By disabling the use of sys when a planet is blockaded, people wont just get away by sying.
