This is a bit of a project I've taken up in the last week or so. It's got a long way to go, but the site itself is coming together (behind the scenes) and I'm really excited, so I wanted you guys to be the first on the net to know about it. DarkSpace was, after all, the group that brought me to realize my affinity for creating and maintaining communities.
It's not much right now, but if I know you people in here as well as I think I do, there's probably a great many folk interested in Spore. I hope to create a simple, fun, and informative space for us to play around in.
The forums may be opening for registration within a week or two. We'll see.

If you need help, just ask (design/code/help/whatever). I'm just as excited about it as anyone else about Spore (which seems to be the entire world and it's brother at the moment). Watched Robin Williams mess with Spore = greatest moment ever in history, possibly, maybe.
Also, SMF > PHPBB2 (or wait a few weeks for PHPBB3) in terms of forum software.
