And the answer is: a
a yielded almost 9 billion results, while all other letters got between 1-5 billion.
My guess was e, being it is so common in our language, and my second guess was x, due to its frequent use in the titles of the most common type of website on the planet. I still cannot figure out why a of all letters would be so much more common. Maybe it is the alphabet thing.

I remember something that said to keep in mind that E is the most common letter when you're trying to 'crack' simple codes
