EDIT: I have fixed the inaccurate cursor problem. Who would have thought it was as simple as "y=y+10;"

Currently getting the target point at the bottom of the cross. Try y=y+5...

I noticed it was a bit too low as well, but it was just too late to go back down to the basement and fix it. Ill do it after work.
However, not all computers have this cursor position problem, and so by fixing it for some, I am messing it up for others. I would hate to have to release multiple versions just to accomodate both circumstances.
One could think if I make it be slightly too low for people without the problem and slightly too high for people with the problem, it would run reasonably well for both with just one version. Just a thought.

Probably an OS thingy, which is easily solved by scanning what kernel is in memory, or what version.

I swear. Just 5 minutes in a room with Jack and a computer, and I bet I would learn more than 16 weeks in a programming class.

Which is hilarious, because the only thing I've been taught is Visual Basic, everything else I taught myself (C++, PHP, etc).
Just basic understandings of machines, and OS' is more important in some area's of programming than understanding of the code.
I know there's a way to find out what Kernel you're using, and failing that, what version. So if it's a 9x vs. NT problem, that should be easy enough to find. If it's 2000 & NT vs. XP and Vista, then just scan for any version below/above NT5.0* and you'll solve your problem.
You probably know more C++ than me in general, but I've just got a way of thinking around problems. Ask Draf, he knows how many bodge jobs I've done. If I can't find one way to do it, I'll keep trying various ways until I get it right.

I hope you don't apply this logic to getting a girl to date you....otherwise you might have a "restraining order" flag set..
