Get Jack to give you an FTP login for DSCW.
Awesome work so far... I think we know who the next Dev Team member might be...

Hey...could you include things like...numbers...and letters?
It's kinda confusing. I have no idea what to do.

If you read the instructions, it would be quite clear. I had no problem at all finding out how to work the game.
I know I know, reading, its so fricken hard but just bear with it, I promise it will be all okay.

Add in a fast moving Planet Buster type enemy weapon. Also, with each successive 'game', either reduce the number of defense bases by one or reduce the maximum number of platforms by one.
To increase the level of difficulty, you could also add in a 'population' variable, so that a planet starts with maybe 100 population and loses one for each bomb that hits the surface. If the population reaches zero, the player loses. Make this carry over to successive 'games'.
Currently it is a little too easy.

Slider Bar Game Speed control has been added. It starts at the slowest speed, so the bombs dont hit the ground faster than you can reach to adjust it.
Keep in mind, the same issue as in the Sand game, that the Mouse cursor point is actually located at the tip of the cross rather than the center.

Download SmartFTP or such:
URL : ftp.jack-online.co.uk
USR: dsftp@jack-online.co.uk
PASS : dsftp
Just make a folder called "Kanman" and under it "Mirv Game" or something. You can constantly replace stuff in there if you want (and back it up by re-naming old versions)
@Game
Slider seems to work for most part, except that 80% of it (right to left) seems to make no difference (or very little), and then towards the very end, it starts speeding up.
What's the slider do exactly? If it's the render rate, or refresh rate. Change it to a stactic 72, that's the average maximum our eyes can register.

Ill do it after I get back at school. My parents are really paranoid about new software on their computer.

Just use Windows Explorer then.
Just type in:
ftp://jack-online.co.uk/
You should see a "pub" folder, right click as if you wanted to make a new folder, and select "Login As".
Enter dsftp@jack-online.co.uk as the username, and dsftp as the password.

If you use FireFox, FireFTP is an awesome extension to it, and doesn't require a separate installation to work as it runs within the FireFox shell.

Im thinking about adding a new enemy bomb, that takes multiple hits to destory, has lasers of its own to shoot down the destroyer, fighters and platforms, and has a much larger destructive area.
..... yup. That will be the next add-on.

It may be slightly difficult due to location restrictions. Gun platforms can only be placed in the lower sky and never too close to each other. Fighters can only be placed in the mid-sky but also, no two fighters can be on the same height (to avoid seeing them pass through each other. And the Destroyer can only go in the upper sky.
Sorry for not mentioning this before. I realize it could have been very confusing.

Heh, too bad you can't make the battlefield bigger, you could allow the creation of even larger ships, like cruisers and Dreadnoughts.

Well, ent. You said you wanted harder, so I think I got it.
Each time you win, the game resets, except it starts 1 level higher than before and you start with a little bit extra score points.
You always start initially with 500, but as you approach your 4th straight victory, you start with about 1200 and on level 5! It is a bit harder and a bit more exciting. If you lose, though, you are docked a Win point and you will start one level lower (unless you have multiple wins on the highest level).
The four new, blue, indictators display your win count.
EDIT: I have fixed the inaccurate cursor problem. Who would have thought it was as simple as "y=y+10;"

That was a nice improvement Kan, took me an hour and a half to beat all four levels of difficulty. (actually lost Dbases in all but the last level, was freaky)
There needs to be a win screen, like "OMG YOU WONZ, U CAN HAZ CHEEZEBURGER"
Or something.
