1st. click here to download teamspeak If you already have Teamspeak Skip to step 2.
2nd. Highlight and copy the link below into your web bouser and change the nickname from DARKSPACENAMEHERE to your name in darkspace...

Server Schedule
October 4 2007 server will be getting a dedicated connection of 640 Kbps UP and 3072 Kbps down…
February 7 2008 Server will be down for server maintenance as a dedicated computer is configured for the server.
February 22 2008 Server will be set to have mandatory server restarts every midnight at 7:00am US Mountain Time. This is the same time the DarkSpace servers restart so there should be no reason this conflict with the schedules of DarkSpace users.
March 3 2008 Server advertisements will be implemented to pay for running costs.
Jan 11 2010 Server will be moved to a Datacenter and hosted there.

You really don't need to keep posting several threads about a TS server (or like Lacro said - post two posts in the same thread, without a reply inbetween, in the space of two minutes - just edit your post). You could just stick to your single thread...

Enough I don’t need to be criticized in my own thread! If you want to suggest something fine, but you don’t need to freak out… I am however doing what you have suggested and from now on useing main thread to update anything and everyting about the server...

My logic is slowly falling, and soon I fear I will like Nsync because of their hard effort or something..

If your new server is being moved to a Datacenter in 2010, how come it costs $1,500 a year? Four computers running 24/7 don't even come close to £400.
I'm also wondering how you're 50kb/s upload connection will handle a dedicated server on the same line. It's all very well having a nice server blade, but without a 100/100 connection on it, it won't be of much use when you get 10~ people on teamspeak alone.

Holy Cats...You are pretty dedicated to Darkspace from what I can see by the year 2010 when this server hits the data center you will have shelled out an estimated $8,000.00 in cost for everything. That's quite a way to break the bank.
In all honesty I will tell you this. I think it's great that you love the game so much that your willing to do this, but I wouldn't of posted any of the figures in the (Public)forums. It's just not..."professional" it's like your asking for someone to say "hey man your awesome! you spend mega dollars on DS." Quite honestly you been in forums long enough that you know post like this simply ask for replies good or bad. If you want to do good for DS I say go right ahead and do it, and people will appreciate it, but there is no way that $8,000.00 is being dished out just for DS. I am sure you have other long term goals in mind. Which is good.
Having long term goals is great. I admire that you sat down, and planned out the next 3 years with where you want to be, what your expected coast are, and good idea of when you will impelment everything. All in all thanks for you efforts, and admire your determination. Just wanted to give you some advice I guess.

I don't have 50kb/s, it is 640kb/s up & 3280 down. 50kb/s was the IP speed cap. My speed cap per IP... and it will be on its own private connection in a month or so, or when ever I have it scheduled anyways.
