Pretty simple, how did you come up with your DS name? Is their a story behind it? Perhaps some sort of symbolism or what not?

I will go first.

Smartin: Real name is Martin or Marty for short. Back many moons ago in High School I was considered to be the "smart" one in my pre-geometry class that I signed up for b/c I thought it would be a easy blow off class(It was). On test day's my friends would say "Smartin leave your test off to the left so I can look over your sholder.", and thats how it came about. It has stuck with me to this day in real life(I swear I have one) and games.

Riley is a character from Buffy the Vampire slayer, he was buffy's boyfriend. For this I envied him.

Kitsune because I like it. I think it's a cool idea, these fox spirits going around in different disguises and forms, putting people through tests and rewarding and punishing them appropriately.

Polaris because A.) For some reason people started thinking I was a girl because of the name "Kitsune" and B.) Mostly because of the game Escape Velocity Nova, in which an advanced nation of humans isolated themselves from the rest of the galaxy. They've got awesome ships and a cool storyline, and call themselves the Polaris. (their first colony ships launched to Polaris first) Plus, Polaris is the star that appears unmoving, a guide for many, a star that is able to help those who are lost find their way.

My favorite books.. The ender series.. Read them over and over since 7th grade when I got hooked..

anyways Peter Wiggin is Ender's brother, rather nasty person at first. My other account is Julian Delphiki aka Bean. Genetic freak(so-to-say) that possessed abnormally high intelligence in return for a short life.

The last grey council selected in the series,(season 5 i believe) where 5 of it's members were chosen from the worker cast. 2 of the first named(iirc) were Durlan and Katz.

A) Duo-21st- from the show Gundam Wing
B)-Reaper- because it was my nickname in Halo 1/2 due to my sniper skills, so it kinda floated over...
C)UnknownWarrior from when Raven Warriors first formed, given to me by my best mate, Banshee

And finally Sogure (So-ju-rei), a name I made up by scratch by typing in random letters, and I eventually cut the letters down until I found something I like. So its something rather origional

Great books.

Elite soldiers raised on a hellish prison world from birth to be merciless killers for the Emperor of the universe? And they get to wear cool black suits with green visors (in the movie)? Yessir.

Back to Raven with you!!!

Suicidal Kamikazee: I do not remember why I picked this name when I had my first account way back in 2002... Lived up to the name when I started playing again in 04 by flying into battle getting minimal prestige before getting killed.

Zhat Rinkhals: Was watching Animal Planet one day and there was some dude looking for a snake that was like a cobra that was called a rinkhals. Also the fact that the word sort of had an innuendo to it. I just added Zhat to sound like That.

Philosophe: Was in a AP World History class at the time and just grabbed the word fromt he book I was reading.

Green Beret: Was given the nickname by an upperclassman during school.

Lacrosseian: Partially stole the idea from The Darkspacian. Originally I was The Lacrosseian before getting rid of The. I obviously play lacrosse, so yea. I also will reverse the name every so often or just shorten it to Lacro.

There are probably plenty of other aliases I have not accounted for yet.
