how to get an old account back |

is there anyway to get an old account back from someone? i gave the account to someone because i needed a big time break, but i want it back! is there anyway to get it back, other than this person has not logged in since ... who knows when. and that person doesnt return the emails? any suggestions? anything would be benificial to my dilema...

this is interesting . you could try talking to a admin about it . other then that i honestly donno . if you havent already tried try logging onto the acount with the pw you made hopfully the person didnt change the pw . well gl

This could be interesting since technically its illegal to give that info away to anyone last I checked... breach of privacy or something in the RoC, I forget?

personal info yes but all they would need to do it erase the pw or even eaiser duplcate the stats but theres a problem with this . not saying that you are but this could also be some atempt for some lowranking person to skip a few ranks . again not saying that you are . theres no way to prove you are telling the truth or not. also i know you said you have been but your best bet would be to getin contact with this person some how

I'm not a mod, or admin, but I'll give you the jist of it.
In giving your details to someone else, you give them ownership rights to your account. It's your own responcibility to KEEP your username and password safe from players, moderators, developers, and administrators.
Usually admins don't chime in on problems like this, as the person you gave the account to may have paid to keep the account active for a short period of time. Normally, with services and such, this would entitle that person to keep that account.
Normally I'd say you're S.O.L. But you might be in luck if an admin gets the proof he needs. I'd give the email you registered the account on, and the original login name of the account AS WELL as the current name of the account (yes, TWO logins/names).

dont admins have a button that shows them your username and pw anyway?

shuddup Carlin! *cough* anyways Zephy baby, in order to get ur original account back...which troy mars has...simply write fill in a Password Retreival email and they'll send you one  Thus you should have yer old account back in no time

or just simply send an email and wait patiantly for them to respond... the wireless signal i've been mooching off of has just returned then i get a virus immidiatly after that so i havent had much of a chance to check my email. so check your email when you read this.
