everytime i try to go to the lobby(this is my new computer) is comes with the checking for new files and nothing else comes up. can anyone help me?

not entirly positive but this might work . i think i had this problem when i use my laptop on ds for the first time. try the red update diomand ( at the top of the loby )i think that was the problem i had. if that dosent work then try to find a mod or admin or anyone in the loby im shore they will be more then willing to help you figure this out

Okay. I click the darkspace icon, i click lobby, then it comes up with client update...
then nothing else comes up

Well, since nobody seems to be biting, do this
start -> run -> cmd
type in "ping metaverse.darkspace.net"
If it works, thats good.
now try "tracert metaverse.darkspace.net"
It'll hop through every computer on the path to the server. If you see any
* * * (some random ip numbers)
It looks like you've got a bad connection somehow that is completely out of your power.
Also, make sure darkspace sin't blocked on your firewall, router,proxy, etc.
