what can i say about this movie that demorian doesnt already know.....i hated it....and i was one of the ones who thought it was gonna be an exciting epic Fantasy movie with great special effects....it had great special effects because IT WAS ALL DONE IN CGI! lol.....thats what turned me off....i wanted to see prosthetic special make up....oh well.....it was graphic as it was in CGI lol....

The CGI body of Angelina Jolie was remarkable, even her hoohoo's were omg.....but yeah....slightly good movie....but anyone under 17 shouldnt go see it...and if you dont have the stomach for gore....dont see it

Ya it coudl have been better. I originally thought it was entirely CGi, so it was interesting to watch the set video where the actors where saying their lines and doing the basic motions. Then they showed how they enhanced everything, added the background, and did the super human moves. All in all interesting but not the movie i was expecting

I saw it in 3D and it wasn't that gory. CGI was kind of annoying but in 3D it looked amazing, I could see every hair on his beard. I’m under 17 and it wasn't anything I hadn't seen before...It could have been better, not by much though.

the only good points of beowulf.....Crispin Glover was Grendal he was a perfect choice because of his creepy persona in willard and his freakish persona on Charlies Angels

Angelina Jolie....what else needs to be said she's awesome XD

My friend pointed out this similarity to me, which was the ONLY reason I went to see it. I've read Beowulf and I didn't like it (call me uncultured, idc...), and I didn't like the movie either. I didn't know it was CG until I saw it, and I would have liked real people better.

It's got nothing on 300 IMHO.
They made Hrothgar look like an idiot, I always thought he was some epic guy.

[edit]He DOES have a damn dropship named after him... lol

The people kind-of reminded me of Shrek! >:O
You can't have people dying and bleeding when they look like they're the same people that were in a movie with that large green ogre guy!

I'm all for CG, but only if the girls look asian and the guys look like girls with spiky hair...

Or maybe I'm just a loser who watches too much anime. -_-
