Here are my comp stats:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Processor AMD Athlon 2.13 ghz
608 Mb of Ram
Graphics Card:
S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR
VideoMemory: 32mb I think? Sad I know
if you need any other info ill find it. I have Cable/Dsl so internet connection should not be the issue. Advice, bashing of how terrible my videocard is, and cheap solutions if you can are all appreciated. Thanks!

Your video card is pretty bad. I'd upgrade that first.

Also, not sure how you have 608MB of RAM? 512MB

I've got the noob Intel Media Graphics Accelerator for my laptop along with a GB of RAM, and I run this game very well on full detail. With that in mind, I'd suggest more RAM first.

Basically, any nVidia card after the TNT2 would be an upgrade.

What you need to do is figure out what kind of AGP slot you have on that motherboard.

i got an AGP slot on my motherboard and after my last graphics card died i had great difficulty finding a replacement AGP card. You don't want to know how bad my present card is - suffice to say that i got minimum detail and 10% trail length!!

IF you can afford to replace the pc soon - do that. AGP is dead so as time goes on you'll find fewer and fewer cards tro fit that slot. I decided that spending £50 - £60 on a new videocard for an obsolete PC was pointless - better to wait 3-4 m and get a new quad core based machine with shed loads of memory and a decent video card.

If a new pc aint on the horizon then agree with the others - a new video card if you can find one - and get the memory up as high as you can afford. 2 gig would be nice.

For a half way house - can you afford a new motherboard with PCI E based graphic card. More expensive than just a new card but cheaper than a new PC and you can re-use all the othe bits in the case (If they fit ofc) and will be a bit more upgradabale as the finances permit.

You can pickup a Geforce FX5200 for $30 or a Radeon 9550 for $40 on newegg.com, but I wouldn't spend much more $$ than that, since it will begin to make more sense to save up for a new comp.

Try and find a Radeon 9600 XT for $50.

Pretty much one of the best mid-ranged old AGP cards you can get.

If you can find the cash, a Radeon X1650 Pro or X1800 GTO are two current top AGP cards (Both from ATI).
