It happend to me on my video card on my desktop. Its the video card cause when i change the screansaver it says not capiable with video card or something. But we're going to get a new video card for it, and that might fix it :D

Or buy a new card. Got a 'legendery' Nvidia card .. Nvidia Geforce 4 mx420 and it can support games up to Far Cry on low settings etc and it's a direct7 card! Sadly it dosent support shaders

if your vid card is pci only go with tha ati 9250... it supports as far as i can tell all the DX9+ and supports pixel shadder 1.1 (if i remember right)
