I am actually cheating and simply reusing the existing model for planets, as we are currently unable to import anything new.

All I have really done is create or import a few textures, and play with some of the effect settings.

If you want it to wrap full from top to bottom, then it will have to be 2048*1024. Letterbox will be too thin.

That looks good, Sanity. Wouldnt hurt to have nice backgrounds like that. Just make sure that if it repeats as I rotate my camera that I dont notice it easily (like the current black and white stars, which repeat but you dont really notice).

Wait wait, since they are actually planets, doesnt that mean they'll still retain planet-like qualities?
