Idea to end all ideas. Anyone watch Chuck Norris in Oblivian on youtube? He could overwhelm an entire kluth fleet, be promoted to admiral, then turn on his own teammates and be demoted to scout;)
naw seriously I like the idea of a new video cuz the other one was well thought out but not very good quality. Also looks like a rather early version. Kluth should definitly be mysterious and travel in packs, and since I liked how the mir showed up at the very end, maybe showcase some differant AI ships just to show the variety.

This idea isnt dead. I just have caught up on a hitch with my internet. I got home from college for the summer and no one here seems to know the KEY to connect to the house router (since it is set to auto on everyone's computers). I'll probably be back online in a few days and then I'll get working on getting this thing underway.
If DarkSpin is still around, use of your server might be useful. Your maps tend to be much better lit than regular server maps and Fraps + DarkSpace usually makes for very dim recordings. The extra lighting and lower lag would be ideal.

Hmmm, I wonder if the plot for this video was ever decided.
How about making an engineer the star of it?
Could open up with a few UGTO bomber cruisers dropping on a planet with a couple of troop transports right behind them dropping infantry. ICC engineer get's emergency call to fortify the planet. He jumps into warp and arrives while a full scale battle is happening between both factions. Then all of a sudden the K'Luth uncloak and start blasting at both factions. A couple of UGTO ships jump away, followed by half of the K'Luth ships. The remaining ICC ships retreat back to the planet being chased by the other half of the K'Luth fleet. Then the planet's defences go back online which starts blasting away at the K'Luth, meanwhile the engineer ship jump's away. He exits from the warp jump and starts to travel thru a gas cloud and gets blown away by an AI, proving that there is no safe place in space.
Just an idea, anyway, I'd still like to see the new video.

If possible, why not have a camera then, just below it, a luth dread uncloaks whilst moving towards earth. The camera pans to the right to see 2 more dreads and a cruiser, to the right then to see 3 cruisers and a destroyer. Then for the final bit of that scene, have a K'luth station uncloak and spew fighters at Earth. yes i know that safe zone regs would have to be a bit careful but it would look awesome
