Hello,
has been a while and I wanted to jump in the lobby and say hi, but unfortunatly after installing the client, etc... it doesn't allow me to log in. Now I'm aware of the fuzz with the IE7 update and all, and before you start suggesting strategies to fix this, let me state that I already have deleted both those update things as suggested in several threads.
Anyways, let me give you a step by step discription of what I do.
I installed the Darkspace Client.
Then I installed the Darkspace update.
When I hit the icon on my desktop, it nicely loads as I remember by giving me the first screen. I hit lobby and it starts loading the random stuff. Once that's finished I put in my username and password, it gets accepted, the GCQL loads and then poof, a fatal error message.
This is the tech stuff I get from it:
AppName: gcql.exe
AppVer: 1.0.0.1
ModName: msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 7.0.2600.2180
Offset: 00036803
I'm puzzled... I never got that error before! Hehe.
Anyways, if anyone can help me out, it would be nice!
