just as the title says my computer 80% of the time while in the beta game server shuts down and restarts
the other 20% when in game for like 2 mins i get this 
P.S oh and this happens with any ship

Sounds like a graphics problem to me.
did you run setup?

Your graphics card or CPU is overheating (looks like GFX card in this case).
Your computer is shutting down to prevent damage to it.

It could be that the beta client has something new in it that is just the last straw on your video cards back and it's already in a condition where it's reasonable to dispose of it and purchase a new one.
I dont think that unless you are using a very high end card that is pushing out thousands of frames per second in darkspace, that darkspace could ever hope to overheat anything much if the card isnt already enroute to the graveyard.
Use some kind of temperature monitoring software to find out the temperatures of your GPU and if they are something silly like closer to 90-100 celsius then it's time to either get better cooling or a new video card. Or downclock the video card.
Then force vertical synchronization and if the problem still persists, then I would say that there is zero and null hope for your video card beyond cooking eggs on it. Be aware that v-sync most likely kills your framerate if it wasnt staggering before, and it's mostly intended for reducing screen tearing but it also helps to reduce heat if the GPU is hosting a rollercoaster festival, as it makes your card output less frames, usually either capped to your refresh rate or then capped to a fraction of the refresh rate, like 1/2 or 1/4, but it's worth a try before throwing the card into a bin.

A can of air works wonders... simply clean out your computer's heat-sinks on the CPU and GPU.

You'd be surprised to see how much dust is accumulated in the fan itself on a GFX card in just one year... Dust bunnies the size of the ends of a q-tip. Even worse if your comp is sitting on the ground, even more so on carpet with pets... your fan can stop completely after 3 years of not cleaning the fan.
