there is little glitch (which cause the GCQ selfupdater to be less effective)

HOWTO:
1)
start GCQ to update itself

2)
abort connection/download process (manually or connectivity wise)
just after GCQ downloaded some but NOT all files from the GQL update list

3)
restart GCQ to continue update

GLITCH:
GCQ redownloads all files from update no matter how many *.upd files were already finished in previous run

this may become real pain for people with less reliable connectivity
also if it's fixed there may be lower 'load' on main GCQ update server

Whenever you click a link it opens in the browser, but still reports in a little popup "Failed to Open URL"

Also, I don't know if it just me, but I'll report.

The GCQL keeps snapping to a smaller resolution when I right click a user and click profile, or when I start up the application, instead of being full screen, it undoes itself and snaps into a 1024 or 800x600 shape.

when i uese the browser and click the daily screenshot it goes loading and then gives an error message i cant get out of. The only way to continue is terminating GCQL.exe
The error is something about the server is busy and the program is using it
(it was a dutch error)
I dont know if anyone else gets this error?

Entirety if DS is in English. So my guess is it's an issue with your Internet Explorer security settings (or perhaps you havn't updated it in a while?).

Depending on the circumstances.
Daily screenshots uses a javascript command to open up a custom IE screen to fit the image. So like jack said might be a security setting.

To add, my own known problem.
I to occasionally get a GCQL error, but! for me i know whats the reason is.
When you had Firefox forcefully closed (haven't tried FF3 yet.) it will ask you if you want it to restore the tabs you where looking at.
It won't ignores the request to open x url that you clicked on, but it will return a "error" signal to the application that requested he url and in turn GCQL will give a error message.

Error: My beta GCQL seems to be loosing connection when minimized for some time in the system tray. the program however does NOT say it got disconnected. infact it keeps showing me as online and active. only thing that stands out is that there is no more chat. browser function works fine.
i can see the ectual state of the lobby again after i shutdown GCQL and log back in. im not sure if ppl see me as away even when im not "connected".

it has been posted before, but i cant find it.
There is no option to see what link is posted in chat in beta without going to it, it normally shows the link somewhere under in the window, now you just have to open and see what happens.
Or you have to right click and go to properties, but that takes so long

Aka Blockspace, its a known problem, usuall advice is to play on fullscree/highest settings.

Second, that is a ingame bug.
Plz check the 1.5 Stress Test - Bugs and Feedback topic.
