Do their larger sizes affect the amount of diamonds on the planets? Also, can you build more structures on them then, too? Since bigger size means the defenses bases need to be spread out even MORE, it seems counter-progressive in first weakening bombing so planets don't get taken out easier... And then enlargening planets so they are harder to defend... (since you need more time to get to the other side of a planet as well, it means planetary defenders/platforms also lose some efficiency in defending a planet)

bombs on the other side of planets no longer destroy stuff on the otherside. So, if you want to destroy structures, you're going to be lobbing near developed areas with defence

even if you're doing it with neutrons, it still takes a long time with one ship.

so basically, people could build loads of stff in a big square and just defend that part of a planet?

Well, as far as I can tell, the new star sizes are so large that Sol itself has consumed all of our solar system, and destroyed the servers Beta runs on.

The rest of us are lagging and will soon be incinerated.

this, of course, is complete fabrication. Sol is so big it only ate up Mercury. people of Earth are safe. (can't say much about Venus)
