Yesterday i was building in beta and i notice that buildings must be constructed one by one. I agree that it is a good idea but build time is really long for an engineer . If you build in a cluster , surely you can be defended by other planets that already built. But if you are at a lonely planet you will be eaten by anyship who explores the area.Even after getting all researchs up (col base, domes, hydro farms , power, nexus bases) you will have to build defense bases level 3 , and each will take 6 mins. So i let the rest to your imagination. You can kill a persistant engineer 5 or 6 times while he tries to build or you wont let him to build anything. Because construction isnt finishing itself after you leave the planet.

I would like to know if dev is aware of this situation and they are going to do something about it or they will let it in this way and why .

just a comment but both ICC and UGTO engineers have halved build times.

My gues the dev's will reply with : Teamplay.

And i agree, if you want to build a remote planet, have a escort.
Or take the chance and build it on your own.

True that currently all building is done by build-drones.
But this way a planet must be constructed, and not just builded by engineers doing flyby's like a bomber, dropping construction sites for the planet to finish.
Not to forget you Teamwork to build faster, its not that hard.

I would have to say this is the best thing for Engineers... I beleive I am what is called a Master Engineer (attaining and keeping a Top 25 Builders spot). I think this is the best for the game becuase it makes Engineers a more valuable asset.

Agreed if you want to adventure out on your own to build work for the Command Dread of your particular faction. That way you have a fighting chance of defending not only yourself but the planet.

If you cannot get that ship then the best possible engy. I have voiced my opinion on the single Kluth engineer theory. I do not like it BUT on the up swing the pres gained appears much faster it seems, or at least more seamlessly, than in release. You can actually see the pres click upwards.

Give and take... thats all that it is... and once you do build that planet.. odds are it will last more than one hour (average life expectancy of a planet in the current MV).
