Im using gcql so i dont have to delete the updates but i still cant play. I canget to the lobby just fine but as soon as I click a server to play on it says " Failed to initialize dispalay" then "Run client setup to check clientsettings". When I run the setup the video settings are what they have always been. I have directx 10 so i know thats not the problem. I have windows xp home version, but would the screen refresh rate effect it? i wonder. ill try that then be back.

Try swapping your resolution around and hitting Accept anyways; Also, I'm not sure, but I get the feeling that a hacked-on DX10 runtime in XP is going to cause problems.
