i saied to ace if he ever killed me while i was in hc i would post it so a deals a deal ace killed me fair and square and i was happy to see he has learned to fight so ive saied it congrats ace i injoyed the chase of the fight the best ive had in a long time makes me remeber why i play this game thank u and good luck

thanks pak, padma, and bud. more importantly thank you deathblave1. ive learnd from you several things dureing that battle.
1. i am of use in battle.
2. your a true friend.
3. more importantly your a good teacher.
i enjoyed the fight as well it was nice and im glad i fought someone such as yourself death. it was truely an eye opener for me as to how to pursue someone and how to fight and finding a style all my own for that class of ships. in the future i look forward to your lessons if there are any left and your help. i also hope that we can be alies. Pak you have nothing to fear from me cause i pose very little if not any threat to your BATTLE STATION. so no need to fear me yet. anyway were on the same side so we can fight to gether and fly together. off topic sorry. anyway death i thank you for the nice fight as well as the many lessons it held for me. again thank you my friend

What do you mean? Battlestations can be taken out by solo cruisers.

You mean like 2 days ago when you jumped away to avoid destruction?
Same battle where you kept asking whether the QST's had been nerfed (no changes to the release patch have been made in years) - where mostly I was just jumping away before you hit OR you simply missed with the QST's.
I think I'm going to have to back away from my claims about taking out a Battlestation completely solo. The issue really is the damage you take from the ions and the sheer size of the stations - need torps to do it and I'd easily run out well before completing the demolition - in addition, I'll be taking some system damage.
What might be doable is more of a staged battle.
A Battlestation in open space less than 2K from a single ICC planet that has a single depot on it and running versus a single ICC CA.
2K leaves the planet well within range of the Battlestation - orbiting for a long time would just provide an easy target (obviously).
